Raising seed or start-up funding, development or expansion capital is often a complex task – and in today’s highly competitive environment, becoming increasingly more so. Consilium was formed in 2014 to help companies and entrepreneurs on this exciting, challenging journey. Having built strong relationships with over 100 Private Equity Houses (plus other investor groups) and over 300 Lenders, we have years of experience in performing as trusted advisors and mentors to many businesses, bringing to the table both proven commercial insight, and long-term strategic solutions.
Consilium has been an official coaching partner with Winning Pitch on the Welsh Government Accelerated Growth Programme, providing trusted advice to ambitious start-ups through to successful scale-up companies. Consilium was awarded the “Endorsing Body” status with the UK Home Office in March 2020. Here Consilium supported foreign Entrepreneurs and Innovators in setting up Tech Businesses in the UK and validating their ideas to the UK Home Office.
In our journey so far, we have brought together experts from Business, Accounting, Banking and Finance, HR, Legal, Marketing and Social Media arenas, who add immense value, by applying their hands-on experience in shaping the investment proposition to the investor community. Before approaching the investor market, Consilium ensures the client is Investor Ready and has the governance in place – alongside a complete set of information documents, ready to satisfy any due diligence process.
Consilium have had a breath-taking start to 2023. We established Consilium Investments LP and finished the first quarter of 2023 with confirmation from the FCA that they have been approved to set up their own Alternative Investment Fund. This will allow Consilium to set up their own Investment Vehicles for their Global network. The capital in the fund will then be used to invest into Innovative Tech companies in the UK.
Simultaneously Consilium have also been approved by the FCA to set up Consilium Finance. Consilium Finance will be a FCA approved broker in commercial finance for the SME Market. Consilium Finance will have access to over 300 lenders across the market offering solutions for any circumstance a potential client may be facing.
Consilium have also launched “Innovator Founder Service” in May 2023 due to the changes at the UK Home Office for Innovator visa routes. Consilium has now the Legacy Endorsement Body status. The Innovator Founder Services will support our clients from the last 3 years who Consilium have endorsed under the Tier 1 Innovator and the Start-up Categories. Consilium will also support new applicants looking to apply for the new Innovator Founder Visa by offering a bespoke service to assist them on their journey.
